A Concert in the Ko‘olaus with Jon Nakamatsu: Volunteers Needed!

Ko‘olau Golf Club’s Ko‘olau Ballrooms

5:00 p.m. – Registration/Pupus/No-Host Cocktails
6:00 p.m. – Concert*
*An autograph session will follow the concert
Attire is all black. Pupus will be provided. There is also an option to catch a chartered bus from the JCCH at 4:15 p.m. and begin volunteering at 5:00 p.m. if you prefer not to drive. It’s THIS SUNDAY, April 18, 2010, Kapiolani Park, 7:45 a.m. Registration. You can register at http://honoluluaidswalk.kintera.org and join our awesome team!! Please refer to the evite for more information and RSVP by Friday, April 16 (we’ll be heading to lunch at Tiki’s after the walk).

The Harimaya Bridge: Hawai‘i Premiere

The Harimaya Bridge was written and directed by Aaron Woolfolk, a veteran of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program who taught in Kochi Prefecture.  The movie will be playing at Regal Dole Cannery Theater for a week starting Friday, April 23rd.

JCCH’s Kodomo no Hi: Keiki Fun Fest Going Green!

JETAA Hawaii will again be volunteering as a group on Sunday, May 2, 2010 at JCCH.  The volunteer shifts are from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 12 p.m. – 4 p.m., and a lunch ticket will be provided for each volunteer. If you would like to volunteer, please email us at jetaahawaii@gmail.com with which shift you would like to work (you can work both too!).
