JASH Friendship Golf Classic

The Japan-America Society of Hawaii (JASH) is seeking volunteers for their 20th Annual Friendship Golf Classic fundraising tournament.  This year’s tournament will be held on Wednesday, April 28, 2010 at the Hickam Air Force Base Mamala Bay Golf Course.  Base access is not a requirement as volunteers will receive a base pass.

Any amount of time is appreciated whether it is just a couple of hours or all day from 8:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Volunteers receive lunch, dinner, refreshments, a polo shirt and a goody bag. It’s a day of fun in the sun!

This event also offers a great opportunity to network with members of JASH as well as other volunteers from organizations such as the Pacific & Asian Affairs Council, International Cultural & Friendship Association, and Sony Open.

Some of the duties include set up, registration, bag drop runner, parking attendant, hole watcher for hole-in-one, beverage cart driver, scorer, prize runner during awards dinner & clean up. Knowledge of golf is not a requirement but helpful for some duties.
