Japan-America Society of Hawaii 5:01 Networking Reception

On November 10th, the Japan-America Society of Hawaii (JASH) held a 5:01 networking reception at Doraku Sushi and JETAA had the unique privilege to attend this special event. What exactly is JASH? It is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization established with a mission of “promoting understanding and friendships between the peoples of Japan and the United States through the special and unique perspective of Hawaii.” At this event, JET alumni rubbed elbows with Corporate, Board, Lifetime, and Senior Advisory Council members of JASH and enjoyed an assortment of delicious pupus and cocktails.

We would like to give a warm thank you to JASH and Society Corporate Member Benihana of Tokyo for a great evening and we encourage our members to learn more about JASH. JETAA members have been given the opportunity to join JASH under their new membership category at a special rate of $10 (initial annual dues). If you have been considering membership, please take advantage of this great opportunity!
