This holiday season, join JETAA Hawaii as we give back to the community! Our November event will be a BBQ and Lōkahi Collection Drive held on Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 10:30 am – 2:00 pm at Magic Island Park. Please RSVP to the Evite along with your potluck item, and feel free to bring any donations (toiletries, toys, and clothing) for the Lōkahi Giving Project. Many families are in need this holiday season, so if you have any new or used items, we would be happy to accept them!

In December, we will be organizing a group of JETAA members, JET alum, family and friends to volunteer at the Lōkahi Day Concert and Gift Drive on Saturday, December 5, 2009, 12:30 – 4:00 pm, Ala Moana Center. We will be collecting items from the public throughout the shopping center, so please wear comfortable clothing and shoes. If you are interested in volunteering, please email us at jetaahawaii@gmail.com with your name and t-shirt size. We encourage you to wear your JETAA shirts if you have them, although we will be getting Lōkahi shirts that day as well. Volunteer check-in will be in the parking lot on Atkinson Drive (ground level under Macy’s) at 12:30 pm.
