Nabe Taikai
Get your nabe on! We’ll be holding the Iron Chef Nabe Taikai this Saturday from 3 pm at Our Redeemer Lutheran School to see who will create the ichiban nabe of 2010! If you haven’t already RSVP’d to the evite, please do so now! See you there!
Kujira Hike

AIDS Walk
JETAA Hawaii has formed a team to participate in the Honolulu AIDS Walk on Sunday, April 18th. Please join us to contribute to this important cause and have fun with us! Visit the website to register and make your pledge. Make sure that you select “join a team” when you register and then select JETAA Hawaii from the drop down menu. Dori (Events Coordinator) will be sending out a specific email with the details. We will also be planning a post-walk lunch in the area, so look out for more information on that as the date gets closer.
The Harimaya Bridge
The Harimaya Bridge was written and directed by Aaron Woolfolk, a veteran of the Japan Exchange and Teaching (JET) Program who taught junior high school English in Kochi Prefecture. The Harimaya Bridge is Woolfolk’s first feature film. The movie will be playing at Dole Theater for a week starting April 23rd, with potential to stay longer.
